About Me
I started my journey into Photography in 2008, fascinated with the natural world I spent a lot of time experimenting with wildlife photography for a number of years before gradually losing interest.
Travelling
After putting photography to one side whilst I pursued other interests I spent a lot of time travelling to many countries and living abroad in Australia and most recently New Zealand.
Rekindling the passion
It was during my time living and working in New Zealand that I rediscovered my love and passion for photography only this time it was landscapes! With an old 5D mk2 with more dust on the sensor than stars in the sky I was absolutely hooked once more.
The insane scenery that surrounded me 24/7 as I drove around living in my van really inspired me and spent almost every waking hour chasing the next shot! During this time I discovered NiSi filters and delved into the the world of long exposure landscape photography and have never looked back.
I feel a strong pull towards the mountains and that keeps me wanting to travel more and more. A few recent visits to Slovenia have compounded my love for big scenery even further and I now visit each year, particularly during the autumn months.
