Description
This workshop is a fantastic opportunity to photograph stunning world-class locations in stunning Slovenia. Autumn is an amazing time to photograph alpine Slovenia. Capture the lakes, mountains and valleys as the fall colours are at their peak.
Transport will be provided during the workshop by means of a comfortable 7 seater or minibus.
The itinerary for this workshop is very flexible and will be set out on a day-by-day basis depending on the weather / light conditions. With a small group size of 4 participants, you can be sure that you will receive plenty of 1-to-1 tuition. This means you can learn as much as you possibly can during the week.
My workshops focus heavily on shooting during the golden hours of sunrise and sunset when the best possible lighting conditions are potentially present however, there will also be times that we will continue to photograph throughout the daylight hours, particularly in misty, moody weather. During the times when we are not shooting, we will engage in other learning activities such as location scouting and planning techniques involving weather data gathering and sun path planning, also group editing sessions and general chit chat about photography back at our accommodation.
Throughout this workshop (depending on your individual needs) we will work on basic techniques such as composition, focusing, correct use of a tripod using filters or exposure blending and much more. We will also cover more advanced techniques such as focus stacking, HDR and panoramic images.
Image processing will cover manipulating light and colour in Lightroom along with working in Photoshop. This photo tour of Slovenia will give you an incredible opportunity to capture some of the most iconic autumnal images along with plenty of lesser known locations
This workshop is of easy/moderate difficulty. Some of the locations are only 10-15 minutes from the car while others require more strenuous walking which requires you to walk for over an hour up steep terrain over uneven ground. Please contact me for advice prior to you booking this workshop.
